Catching up on Skip Beat! Anime

Yosh! 6 episodes in one sitting!

Due to some problems with school(being busy with homeworks, reports, projects) and other stuff, I haven’t had much time to sit down, relax and enjoy some anime goodness. Actually, I decided to put some of my Fall Anime 2008 on-hold until I have the time to watch them simultaneously. By that, I mean one series at a time.

I’ve decided to wait for weeks until there’s already a line up of episodes from one series that I haven’t watched yet so when I have extra real time, I’d watch all that are available. Apparently, one of those series that I decided to put on hold was Skip Beat.

Despite of my attachment to Skip Beat, I had to put it on-hold because I feel that if I watch it weekly then I’d have to wait until I could get the next episode right? I now it’s a silly reason but for me it’s better to wait for many episodes than wait for just an episode. Though sometimes, I can’t help but look at summaries and reviews of the recent episodes XD.

So speaking of catching up on Skip Beat! anime, yesterday, since I really had nothing else to do than micro-blog using twitter and lie on bed, I decided to watch the current episodes of Skip Beat that I haven’t watched yet – episodes 8-14. Wow, imagine that, 6 episodes non-stop without a break!

So, the timeline of the 6 episodes were divided into 3 arcs or whatever you call that. The first one was still related to Maria’s problem regarding her father and Kyoko offering to help her and eventually she was challenged by those biatches from the training section. The 2nd arc was about Kyoko replacing the ill Bo performer during a variety show in which, Shou happened to guest in. She plots to humiliate Shou but all her plans failed. This also includes the part were Kyoko, dressed as Bo, encounters a troubled Ren and sees another side of him. The 3rd arc, was Kyoko and Kanae auditioning for a CM of Kyurara in which Kanae’s most hated opponent, Erika, one who uses money and influence to get what she wants, is also auditioning. In spite of the failures and troubles that comes in their way, Kyoko and Kanae were able to do a fantastic job and in the end were the ones who got accepted for the CM.

On side note, Kyoko and Ren’s relationship are getting to it’s starting point so SB fans better watch out! Too bad I’ll have to wait another week until the 15th episode is released. *sigh*
